On October 10, the third 24,188 TEU ultra large container Ship “OOCL ZEEBRUGGE” built by the company for Orient Overseas (International) Container Line Ltd. was delivered on schedule in Dalian.

“OOCL ZEEBRUGGE” becomes the third Ship built by the company for OOCL in a series of six, after “OOCL TURKIYE” and “OOCL SPAIN”. After completing its sea trial on September 21, the Ship berthed at Dalian COSCO KHI shipyard. Many external constraints have never changed our pursuit of product quality. Each Ship integrates the latest technological achievements and intelligent means, and its excellent performance indicators are fully verified, thus providing a strong guarantee for the safety, stability, efficiency and smoothness of the global supply chain of shipowners. After delivery, “OOCL ZEEBRUGGE” will join her sister vessels “OOCL SPAIN” and “OOCL TURKIYE” in serving AEU7 service loop from the Far East to Northwest Europe.

The delivery period coincided with the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day. In order to complete the final work, OOCL members, together with our employees, overcame the difficulties of not having a rest during the holidays and not being able to accompany their relatives, and stuck to their posts to successfully complete the construction tasks. During this period, DACKS has provided full guarantee and support, making positive contributions to the delivery of the Ship in other places.

In the early morning of October 10, Mr. Xu Wenyu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of the company, boarded the mega Ship, bid farewell to the captain of “OOCL ZEEBRUGGE”, and expressed sincere gratitude to all the employees on board for their hard work and the best support of their families.
