From September 14 to September 16, “The 5th Session of Central Enterprise QC Group Results Presentation Competition” guided by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and hosted by the China Association for Quality was held online through the Internet. After a series of selection, a total of 180 QC results of 84 central enterprises from all walks of life participated in the final competition. The QC result Reducing the Cost of Power Distribution System of 24,000 TEU Reefer Containers selected by the Denso Design Section of Technology Department of the Company stood out and won the second prize in the competition.

There are 5 members in the QC Team of Denso Design Section. Such members always adhere to the concept that designers are the vanguard of cost reduction and efficiency improvement, overcome difficulties such as heavy and difficult work tasks, devotes themselves to QC work with great enthusiasm, analyze and seek for optimization improvement points with diffuse thinking from the habitual standard design, to actively contribute to the Company’s cost reduction and efficiency improvement.

In 2020, their QC result Reducing the Cable Purchasing Cost won the first prize of COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry; and the QC result winning the second prize of this 5th Central Enterprise Competition is the best result they have achieved since they participated in the competition for three times. In the next step, they will solidify the relevant results into design standards to promote the implementation.
