Recently,
the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the
People’s Republic of China released the 2025 Green Manufacturing List, and the
Company was successfully awarded the title of “National Green Factory” for its
remarkable achievements in green and low‑carbon transformation. This national
honor not only highly recognizes the Company’s long-term commitment to
sustainable development but also marks a milestone breakthrough in building a
green manufacturing system featuring low‑carbon energy use, high‑efficiency
resource utilization, clean production, eco‑friendly products and intensive
land use.
In the process of building a “National
Green Factory”, the Company has explored a path of green and intelligent
manufacturing featuring “digital-intelligent integration and full-chain control”.
First, greening at the source. The
Company has comprehensively promoted the use of environmentally friendly
water-based coatings to significantly reduce the generation of pollutants from
the production process. Additionally, a distributed photovoltaic power generation
project has been completed, with continuous efforts to increase the proportion
of green energy usage.
Second,
efficient governance. Relying on advanced end-of-pipe treatment facilities, a
full-process VOCs management system covering “source substitution-process
control-end-of-pipe treatment-recycling utilization” has been established. The
purification efficiency of VOCs has been stably maintained at over 98%,
achieving ultra-low emissions.
Third, intelligent carbon control. A
“Smart Energy and Carbon Management Platform” has been built to enable precise
measurement and refined control of energy consumption and carbon emissions
data, driving continuous improvement in energy utilization efficiency.
Furthermore, the Company is also advancing the construction of a smart power
control system, leveraging the Mimic design philosophy to intelligently manage
electricity usage on the production site.
Fourth,
resource recycling. By classifying and reusing steel scraps and implementing a
water recycling system, the green concept of “turning waste into treasure” is
integrated into every production detail.
Fifth, green products development.
The Company has achieved remarkable results in design and R&D, focusing on developing
new energy and low-carbon vessels powered by LNG, methanol, and ammonia, with
multiple ship types designed and built reaching internationally leading levels.
It also places emphasis on the carbon emissions of its vessels, having tracked
and calculated the carbon footprint of shipbuilding processes for consecutive
years. The Company's core green indicators rank among the top in the national
shipbuilding industry, fully demonstrating its leading strength in the field of
green manufacturing.
The Company will seize this
opportunity to further implement the national carbon peaking and carbon
neutrality strategy, respond to the call for the construction of “zero carbon
factories”, empower high-quality development with green and intelligent
manufacturing, continuously deepen green technology innovation, actively play a
demonstrative and leading role, drive collaborative carbon reduction across the
upstream and downstream of the industry chain, enhance the competitiveness of
the entire supply chain's carbon footprint, and contribute more wisdom and
strength to building a beautiful China and safeguarding the blue sea and clear
sky.
