On February 19, Mr. Zhu Bixin, President of China COSCO SHIPPING Group, conducted an official visit to the company for inspection and research purposes. During his visit, he earnestly listened to the report on the company's production and operational status presented by Mr. Gao Yongqiang, President and Party Committee Secretary of the company. Mr. Zhu meticulously acquired a comprehensive understanding of the progress in the company’s key projects, visited the company’s exhibition hall and production workshop, and engaged in a warm meeting with management teams from both Chinese and Japanese sides. The visit concluded with a commemorative group photo.

Mr. Zhu Bixin extended comprehensive recognition to the company's accomplishments in aspects including operational performance, technological innovation, intelligent transformation and digitalization, as well as lean management. He pointed out that the company, as a benchmark in China's burgeoning shipbuilding sector, has witnessed significant achievements across three decades of innovative progress. Standing at this new starting point of excellence, he conveyed his aspiration for the company to persist in its vigorous pursuit of industry leadership and to consistently uphold its role as a trailblazer.

Mr. Zhu Bixin stressed the imperative of thoroughly adopting the essence of the 2025 Group's annual work conference guidelines, to ensure a solid and synergetic progress in all operational areas. He emphasized focusing on the core responsibilities and business areas, thereby providing robust support for enhancing the Group's transportation capacity. Furthermore, he advocated for continued reforms, the enhancement of the corporate governance structure, strengthening the unique benefits of lean management, widening the application of “intelligent transformation and digitalization," and utilizing digital intelligence technologies to facilitate industrial advancement. Such endeavors will contribute significantly to the Group's goal of establishing itself as a world-class shipping technology enterprise.

Mr. Zhu Bixin particularly stressed the importance of prioritizing Party building as a guide force, concentrating on the "Party building + self-governing management" model, and striving for a substantive and profound confluence of Party building activities. He called for firmly establishing a bottom-line thinking, adhering to the principle of safety that starts and ends with zero incidents, strictly implementing primary responsibilities for production safety, and ensuring the company's high-quality and sustainable development.
