With the gentle warmth of the spring breeze and the bright radiance of the sun, the Company celebrated a momentous event on March 22: the naming ceremony of the first new ship in the Year of Dragon. In the morning of that day, under the joint witness of leaders and guests from SPDB Financial Leasing, BG Shipping, etc., Ms. Ji Xiaojian, the ship’s godmother, bestowed a name upon the new ship and ceremoniously popped a bottle of champagne.

The "BBG LIJIANG" ship is the third ship in our new series of four 82,000 DWT bulk carriers, and embodies the collective expectations and confidence of all involved parties. It is not only the 13th new ship meticulously constructed by NACKS and DACKS for SPDB Financial Leasing and BG Shipping in the past five years, but it also represents yet another significant landmark in the collaborative journey of these three entities. During the ceremony, Mr. Junji Maeda, the President (KHI) of NACKS, recalled the cooperation with shipowners over the years. From "BBG BAISE" to "BBG LIJIANG", every cooperation has witnessed the deep engagement embodying mutual commitment, loyalty, trust and friendship.

The naming ceremony of the " BBG LIJIANG " ship took place amidst the vibrant aura of spring, symbolizing that the cooperation among the tripartite will flourish like the renewal of spring in the coming year. Mr. Xu Wenyu, the Secretary of the Party Committee of NACKS, said that the high rent of the ship is not only a positive indication for the shipping market, but also an affirmation of the continues commitment to excellence and innovation by SPDB Financial Leasing, BG Shipping and NACKS. He earnestly hoped that SPDB Financial Leasing, BG Shipping and all parties involved will achieve more brilliant performance in the Year of Dragon.
