On May 7, with the aim of glorifying the spirit of model workers and preserving the legacy of artisanal expertise, the company held its second Model Worker Storytelling Session, in conjunction with the inauguration of the "Jiang Ning Lean and Digital Intelligence Model Worker Studio" initiative. Mr. Chen Junfeng, a distinguished model worker from COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry and head of the Manufacturing Division's Workshop Department, recounted his journey of personal development in light of his post. Amid resounding applause, leaders in attendance pressed the launch button together, marking the official commencement of the Model Worker Studio project with a shared sense of commitment and vision.

Mr. Gao Yongqiang, the President and Secretary of the Party Committee of COSCOSHIPPING, emphasized that model workers are the company’s most treasured assets. Their personal journeys of growth profoundly inspire all within the maritime industry. In his speech, Mr. Guo Qingli, the Chief Accountant and Chairman of the Trade Union, highlighted the importance of glorifying the spirit of model workers and preserving the legacy of artisanal expertise, which are not only pivotal supports for the growth of the enterprise but also integral pillars in the cultivation of corporate culture. Mr. Guo conveyed his aspiration that the initiation of the Model Worker Studio project would serve as an opportunity to train and select outstanding technical personnel while further strengthening foundations for high-tech skilled professionals—infusing new vitality into enterprise development.

At the launch ceremony, the representative from Jiang Ning Lean and Digital Intelligence Model Worker Studio presented two advancement projects titled "Enhancing the Efficiency of Robot Welding" and "Improving Cutting Quality of Ultra-Thick Plates", which demonstrated the leading role of the Model Worker Studio in technological innovation and efficiency improvement. Mr. Li Yong, the Vice President, commended these efforts highly, urging all employees to actively engage in the projects to collectively foster the innovative progress of the enterprise.
